I’m thrilled to officially announce that I’ve signed with Sibylline Press, an indie publisher based in Grass Valley, California, to publish my debut novel, California Is an Earthquake. More details coming soon, but for now, I can tell you that it will be published no later than spring 2028. On the one hand, that seems a long way off, but on the other hand, there is so much work to do between now and then—the time is going to fly by quickly. I am over the moon happy—when you know, you know. I did my homework and was already pretty much convinced this was the right home for my book, but once I met with publisher Vicki DeArmon and acquisitions editor Julia Park Tracey, I knew for certain. The meeting was everything I’d always dreamed a meeting about my book would be (except for my internet cutting out two minutes in), and the people and the vibe and the publishing philosophy are even more special than I’d dared to hope for. They suit me and my book perfectly, and I can’t wait to finally share California Is an Earthquake with all of you!
